OUR STORY
Founded on precision, grown on reliability
Aerothane Applications has operated in the South African polyurethane industry for over thirty years. We started as a PU foam manufacturer and have grown into the most complete insulation supply house in the Western Cape — serving insulation contractors, mechanical engineers, cold store builders, HVAC installers and construction companies from a single facility in Cape Town.
We are the authorised sub-Saharan distributor for Rockwool Technical Insulation and stock nine product families under one roof: rigid PU foam, PIR/PIC, EPS, Rockwool, ceramic fibre, Aspen Aerogels, AeroWrap® NBR, PU chemical systems and acoustic foam. Most items are available for same-day dispatch from our Cape Town warehouse.

CNC Manufacturing
Five CNC cutting machines allow us to produce any two-dimensional profile from your DXF drawings. Pipe sections in any NB size, radiused boards for tanks and vessels, complex architectural profiles — manufactured on-site in Cape Town.
Same-Day Dispatch
Standard products are dispatched the same day on most orders received before noon. We stock the full Rockwool Technical Insulation range alongside our own-manufactured PU and PIR/PIC products, so you deal with one supplier rather than several.
Technical Support
Our team provides product selection advice, thermal thickness calculations, fire rating guidance and on-site installation support. Send us your drawings, operating temperatures and specification requirements and we’ll recommend the right solution.
