Rigid polyurethane foam is the most widely specified thermal insulation material for cold service applications in South Africa. Its closed-cell structure delivers exceptional thermal conductivity — as low as 0.022 W/mK — combined with excellent compressive strength and near-zero moisture absorption.
Aerothane manufactures rigid PU foam on-site at our Cape Town facility. Five CNC cutting machines allow us to produce pipe sections in any NB size, radiused boards for tanks and vessels, and complex custom profiles from your DXF drawings. Standard orders dispatched within 24 hours.
