HOT INSULATION · EXTREME TEMPERATURE
Ceramic Fibre Blankets
High-temperature ceramic fibre insulation blankets for furnaces, kilns and industrial heating systems. Available in B96 and B128 grades with service temperatures up to 1400°C — where conventional insulation materials cannot perform.
ABOUT CERAMIC FIBRE INSULATION
Designed for the most demanding high-temperature applications
Ceramic fibre insulation is manufactured from alumino-silicate fibres and is specifically designed for service temperatures that exceed the capabilities of Rockwool, calcium silicate and other conventional hot insulation materials. With service ratings up to 1400°C, ceramic blankets are the specification-grade solution for furnace linings, kiln insulation and high-temperature industrial heating systems.
Aerothane supplies ceramic fibre blankets in B96 and B128 grades, available in 25mm and 50mm thicknesses in standard roll dimensions. Cut-to-size service available — contact us with your requirements.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Where ceramic fibre blankets are specified
Furnace Linings
Ceramic fibre blankets are the standard lining material for industrial furnaces, heat treatment chambers and ovens operating above the capability of conventional refractory bricks. Their low heat storage allows faster heat-up cycles and significant energy savings versus traditional brick linings.
Kiln Insulation
Tunnel kilns, batch kilns and shuttle kilns across ceramics, glass and materials processing rely on ceramic fibre blankets for their combination of high-temperature resistance, low thermal mass and dimensional stability under repeated thermal cycling.
Heat Treatment Equipment
Annealing ovens, hardening furnaces and stress-relieving chambers require insulation that maintains performance across thousands of heat-up and cool-down cycles. Ceramic fibre blankets’ thermal shock resistance makes them the reliable choice for demanding cyclic applications.
